I’m pleased to share that Northmore Gordon is the first Accredited Person (APAccredited Provider - a person accredited under the Victorian Essential Services Commission (ESC) to create VEECs for Prescribed Activities.) under the Victorian Energy Upgrades (VEUVictorian Energy Upgrades is a Victorian government energy efficiency program that gives every Victorian household and business the opportunity to receive rebates or discounts on energy saving products.) program to support Activity 47 – Deemed C&I Solar PVSolar Photovoltaic.

This new activity allows VEECs to be created for a much broader range of commercial solar systems in Victoria, opening new revenue opportunities for a wide range of partners – from installers, EPCs, PPAPower Purchase Agreement is a direct agreement between a renewable energy project developer and an end-user for the sale of renewable electricity. Behind the meter, PPAs are commonly used for on-site solar. Off-site PPAs supply renewable energy from projects that are connected to the same electricity grid as the end-user,  but can be located anywhere. and lease providers to energy retailers, equipment suppliers, and developers.

What is Activity 47?

Activity 47 enables VEECVictorian Energy Efficiency Certificate creation for C&I solar PV installations between 30 kW and 200 kW. These projects were previously ineligible for VEECs but can now generate upfront deemed certificates, significantly improving project economics.
